Our read, not the brands’. It’s opinion, built from their announcements and the models they replace, and each one covers its whole category.

Hybrids
Most 2026 hybrids arrived with their brands' winter woods: TaylorMade's Qi4D Rescues, Cobra's OPTM, Mizuno's JPX One, Callaway's Quantum in Max, Max OS and Max Fast shapes, and Tour Edge's Hot Launch Max. PING's women's G Le4 hybrids followed in March. Callaway describes its women's Max OS as oversized and draw-biased, for golfers who fight a right miss or need help getting the ball airborne, and TaylorMade calls its women's Max Lite the easiest-launching hybrid in the Qi4D lineup. Our read: map your lofts first, so your hybrids sit cleanly between your longest iron and your highest fairway wood, then get fitted.
