Buy now or wait?

Our read, not the brands’. It’s opinion, built from their announcements and the models they replace, and each one covers its whole category.

Putters
Stability is the 2026 putter story. Zero-torque designs came from Odyssey, TaylorMade (Spider ZT Max), PXG, Vice, Wilson, Tour Edge, L.A.B. (VZN.1i) and Bettinardi (Antidote Hexperimental #7 and #9), with Mizuno's M.Craft X Z2 and Z3 due Oct. 30 as 2027 models. Vice, Wilson and Mizuno each describe lining the shaft axis up with the head's center of gravity so the face resists rotation. Classic shapes got attention too, from Scotty Cameron's Studio Style additions and Mizuno's forged M.Craft City to Bettinardi's BB Series and L.A.B.'s first heel-shafted LINK blades. Women get PING's G Le4 Anser 2D, Louise and Oslo and Wilson's 33-inch women's 606 and Lakeview. Our read: roll several on a real green, and get your length and lie checked.
