  • Changed his 60° lob wedge from a T grind to an M grind after working with Vokey tour rep Aaron Dill at Sedgefield that week (Golf.com). Golf Retailing dates the session to Tuesday and calls the new club an SM10 60.08M; Golf.com and others list SM11.

Our take

This is Tour Weekly’s opinion, not the player’s or any brand’s.

Brennan’s bag is a lesson in changing only what needs changing. GOLF.com says that apart from the fairway woods, it’s essentially the setup that won him the Bank of Utah Championship last October: a GT3 driver, T100 long irons blending into 620 CB short irons, and four Vokey wedges. The part worth copying is the 21° GTS3 7-wood above his 4-iron. He told Titleist both GTS fairway woods helped him get rid of a left miss off the tee. Our read: if your long irons aren’t earning their spot, a 7-wood deserves a turn in your next fitting.
